Raised Face (RF) Flange

A Raised Face (RF) flange is a type of flange commonly used in piping systems where a higher level of sealing is required. The flange has a raised, flat area around the bore where the gasket is placed, slightly above the bolt circle face. This design allows the gasket to be compressed more effectively when the flanges are bolted together, improving the seal between them.
